In a glasshouse there are two sorts of lights typically used:
A. General access lighting – to check the glasshouse, plants and stow away at the end of a day
B. Grow lighting – to provide the correct wavelength to promote growth in plants out of season.
The pedestrian or general access lights are designed similar in character to those pendant lights found traditionally. The light is provided by low energy, 11W eco bulbs enclosed within an IP65 rated glass enclosure. The cowl can be supplied in a range of RAL colours, or left as spun aluminium.
