Air Source Heat Pumps used in new plant house at Logan Botanical Gardens.
The official opening of the Logan Conservatory at Logan Botanical Gardens, will be by Aileen McLeod MSP and takes place at the end of June. These gardens are part of the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh. The new conservatory has been built in the Victorian glasshouse style and is the first in the UK of a new type of energy self-sufficient glasshouse.
The Logan Conservatory will extend the exotic theme of the Garden by housing a variety of tender species from South Africa, enhancing the world renowned plant collection, and providing new opportunities to engage visitors on climate change and plant diversity.
Harrier GD undertook and were responsible for the heating in this project. Air Source Heat Pumps were selected to be used as part of the ecofriendly installation, on this site. We have images taken during the time of installation and on a visit following completion.
