Garden Rooms, Roof Lights & Orangeries
With a background in glasshouses and an extensive knowledge of heating, Harrier GD is well placed to advise and deliver all forms of Orangery, whether solely for the purpose of plant protection and growing, or as a light and open space exclusively for people. Harrier GD has worked on the design and delivery of many such structures. They range from fully glazed frames used to shelter citrus & tender plants through the winter months to buildings with large window panels or opening doors, incorporating generous roof lights, known as atriums. These are hugely popular structures and can transform the way a property is enjoyed. They can be perhaps attached to a kitchen or used as a linkway between different building elements. If the Orangery is part of the main house, heating considerations, building regulations and structural integrity of the addition, need to be taken into account. Harrier GD has experience in all of these areas.
