Vine Supports

In order to ensure the high light levels needed by a vine, a network of wires is created approx 9” (21cm) below and parallel to, the glass and at 12” (31cm) intervals. These wires are tensioned at the ends of the glasshouse section in which the vines are grown. The wires are supported by angle strips or ‘vine eyes’ which screw into the frame of the glasshouse.
